Registration Policy

At Sumi Cosmo, we are committed to providing a premium learning experience for every participant. To ensure fair planning and the smooth delivery of our Programs, the following Registration Policy applies once your registration has been confirmed.

Participant Cancellation

If you choose to cancel your registration, any eligible refund will be processed according to the cancellation schedule below:

  • 40 days or more before the Program start date: 70% of the course fee will be refunded (30% retained).
  • 15–39 days before the Program start date: 50% of the course fee will be refunded (50% retained).
  • 14 days or less before the Program start date: 25% of the course fee will be refunded (75% retained).
  • Failure to attend without prior notice (No-Show) will result in 100% of the course fee being retained.

Registration Transfer

Participants may request to transfer their registration to the next available intake of the same Program, subject to availability.

Requests to transfer to another Sumi Cosmo Signature Program may also be considered, subject to availability and any applicable fee adjustments.

Transfer requests must be submitted at least fourteen (14) calendar days before the Program start date.

Approved registration transfers are valid for up to three (3) months from the original Program date and may be used once only.

If the transferred registration is not used within this period, the registration will automatically expire and the course fee will be forfeited.

Transfer requests received after the 14-day deadline will not be accepted and will be treated as a participant cancellation in accordance with the Cancellation Policy.

Program Changes by Sumi Cosmo

Sumi Cosmo reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the Program schedule, venue, instructor, or course content where necessary while maintaining the overall quality and learning objectives of the Program.

If Sumi Cosmo postpones or cancels a Program for operational reasons, participants may choose one of the following options:

  • Transfer to the next available Program date; or
  • Receive a full refund.

Force Majeure & Unforeseen Events

Sumi Cosmo shall not be held liable for delays, postponements, cancellations, or changes resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control. These may include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, severe weather conditions, government restrictions, travel advisories, visa delays or refusals, airline disruptions or cancellations, public health emergencies, political instability, armed conflicts, war, civil unrest, or any other force majeure event.

Where possible, Sumi Cosmo will make every reasonable effort to minimize disruption and provide timely communication to all registered participants.

If a Program is affected by a force majeure event, all confirmed registrations will remain valid unless otherwise determined by Sumi Cosmo.

Depending on the circumstances, Sumi Cosmo reserves the right to determine the most appropriate solution, including:

  • Rescheduling the Program to a future date.
  • Automatically transferring registrations to the next available Program.
  • Transferring registrations to another suitable Sumi Cosmo Program.
  • Issuing a registration credit for future use.
  • Providing a full refund, where appropriate.

Sumi Cosmo shall not be responsible for any additional costs incurred by participants, including but not limited to airline tickets, accommodation, visa fees, transportation, travel insurance, or any other personal travel expenses.

Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase flexible travel arrangements and appropriate travel insurance where applicable.

Special Considerations

We understand that exceptional personal circumstances may arise.

In cases such as serious illness, bereavement, or other documented emergencies, participants may submit a written request for special consideration together with any supporting documentation.

Each request will be reviewed individually and, at Sumi Cosmo's sole discretion, one or more of the following arrangements may be offered where appropriate:

  • Registration transfer to a future Program.
  • Extension of the registration validity.
  • Transfer to another suitable Sumi Cosmo Program.
  • Issuance of a registration credit for future use.
  • A full or partial refund, where deemed appropriate.

Each request will be reviewed individually based on its specific circumstances. Any exception granted applies only to that particular case and does not establish a precedent for future requests.

Sumi Cosmo reserves the right to amend or update this Registration Policy at any time. Any changes will apply to future registrations and will be published on the official website.
